Meet Our Founder, Robert Gianguzzi

Before establishing CVRG Solutions, our founder, Robert Gianguzzi, gained experience in the fields of cardiovascular health care service line leadership positions for more than 20 years at prominent organizations. He also held adjunct faculty positions for three universities in New York during his clinical and administrative career, and now consults and offers innovative solutions for cardiovascular services, other specialty practices, and health networks. With positions as a hospital-based clinical program director and service line executive, he became an excellent facilitator and team builder. Accomplishments, Honors, & Awards

Mr. Gianguzzi directed and led clinical support infrastructure teams for three competitive United States heart centers of excellence through benchmark balanced scorecards that were rated and ranked in the U.S. News & World Report, as well as other star-rated and consumer-ranked organizations with market share preference. He also led two centers into full accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers, and led yet another into additional accreditation as a heart failure center with a focus on chronic disease management.

Mr. Gianguzzi has helped to enhance a health care organizations' image, clinical reputation, contribution margin, primary care physician preference, and retention of heart and vascular specialists in different regions of the country. He also developed and directed inpatient-outpatient facility planning, technology acquisition, clinical databases and registries, revenue cycle improvement, supply chain savings, contribution margin-market share performance, outcomes reporting for cardiology information decision support, and built action-oriented teams. As a symbol of recognition for his contributions, he has received the following awards and honors:

  • Health Care Executive Leadership Fellowship, Arizona Health & Hospital Association (AzHHA)
